Terms and Conditions of Sale (Digital Knitting Patterns)
Last updated: 08.07.2026
These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to purchases of digital knitting patterns (“digital products”) on stengelstrikk.no (“the website”). When making a purchase, you have rights under mandatory consumer protection legislation.
1. The parties
The seller is STENGELSTRIKK KNUDSEN, business registration no. 937 400 004, address: Nordre Øyanveg 40, 7320 FANNREM, Norway, email: stengelstrikk@hotmail.com (“the Seller”).
2. Products
We sell digital knitting patterns that are delivered electronically, typically as PDF files or in a similar format.
The product’s language, content, and file format are stated on the product page.
3. Price
The price is stated on the product page and at checkout before payment. The total price includes any applicable fees or taxes calculated at checkout.
4. Payment
Payment is made through Wix’s payment solution and the available payment methods, including Vipps when activated. The payment is processed by the payment provider(s). The buyer is responsible for providing correct payment information.
5. Delivery (digital delivery)
Digital products are delivered electronically immediately or shortly after payment has been completed, typically by:
-
a download link on the confirmation page, and/or
-
a link/access provided in the order confirmation email, and/or
-
access through your account/order history on the website.
If you do not receive the delivery, please check your junk/spam folder and contact us at stengelstrikk@hotmail.com.
6. Right of withdrawal (important for digital products)
The right of withdrawal for online purchases is generally 14 days. However, digital products delivered without a physical medium may be exempt from the right of withdrawal once delivery has started, provided that you have, in advance:
consented to delivery starting immediately, and
acknowledged that the right of withdrawal will be lost once delivery starts.
At checkout, we therefore ask for separate consent for immediate delivery. See the separate page “Right of withdrawal and returns” for details and the withdrawal form.
7. Errors, defects and complaints (digital content)
If there is an error with the delivery, such as a corrupted file, wrong file, or missing access/link, we will help you receive the correct delivery at no cost.
As a consumer, you have rights if the digital content has a defect or does not correspond with what has been agreed. You must submit a complaint within a reasonable time after discovering the issue.
See the separate page “Complaints and support”.
8. Updates and corrections
If we discover errors in the pattern, such as typos that affect the result, we may publish a corrected version. If you have purchased the pattern, you will receive access to the updated version in the same way as the original delivery, where this is technically possible.
9. Right of use and copyright
The patterns are protected by copyright. Your purchase gives you a personal right to use the pattern for your own purposes.
You may not share, copy, publish, resell, or distribute the pattern, in whole or in part, without written permission.
Finished products made from the pattern: You may sell finished products that you have knitted using the pattern on a small scale, but not as mass production. Please credit “Design: Stengelstrikk” where possible.
10. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is linked in the footer. The contact form is used only to respond to enquiries.
11. Disputes and governing law
If a disagreement arises, we encourage you to contact us first at stengelstrikk@hotmail.com. Consumers may also seek guidance and use complaint procedures through public authorities.
Norwegian law applies where relevant, but mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence may apply in addition.
